SAVIGLIANO is the birth place of the most modern Italian locomotives and
high speed trains. The ALSTOM works are located there (in the past: FIAT FERROVIARIA).
There is also a wonderful open-air railway museum on the left side. If you travel from Turin
to Savona, Cuneo or Ventimiglia, don't miss to make a stop there and visit it!
