Libcice nad Vltavou is a suburban station on line 91 between Praha and Kralupy nad Vltavou. There are 4 tracks but most train use the centre two. Fast trains and EC trains going to Ústí nad Labem and Germany pass non-stop. Photographed on Tuesday September 11th, 2007.

Libcice-c-mt.jpg (121156 bytes)

Libcice nad Vltavou station has a covered waiting area on the platform side which proved invaluable when the skies opened up. I photographed 16 trains in 80 minutes from 16:00 on Tuesday September 11th, 2007.
Items of interest in the photo is the yellow ticket machine and the two time punch machines on the wall and the location of the westbound platform at the extreme left of the photo. The station is located on a sweeping curve and has both eastbound and westbound signal gantries visible from here.
