From couple of years there are needs for bulid a second bridge above Danube river , connecting Bulgaria and Romania , even the only one to this moment between Ruse and Giurgiu.The needs take a permition the buliding place is between Vidin and Calafat.The official web site is this:

Work cars, rebuilt from old passenger cars, at Zabori nad Labem,
somewhere between Praha and Pardubice. Photo taken from the R 241
VSACAN (Cheb - Zilina) which was taking an unplanned stop here
due to the single track section after Zabori where the line is
currently being renewed and upgraded for 160 km/h. 2001-08-28.
