The original interior of the 2nd class Intercity car Bpmz 291. The DB first introduced these cars in 1979 (and ordered large series throughout the 1980s). The warm colours yellow, green and brown of the original interior were meant to have a positive psychological effect on the travellers, but in the 1990s they seemed outdated.
