Hannover Hbf, 2001-03-26, 11:30. The IC 624 "Rheinland" (left) is just departing towards Leipzig, as the ICE 682 "Marieluise Fleißer" (right) from München enters the station. The rolling stock of the IC 624 has recently been repainted in the latest "ICE colours": carbody painted in light grey (RAL 7035) with a stripe in traffic red (RAL 3020), roof painted window grey (RAL 7040), skirts and underframes basalt grey (RAL 7012). The ICE 682, an ICE 1 set, is also in the latest colours (which are now the same for both types of rolling stock, except that the ICE doesn't have a "window grey" roof). Photo: tobias b köhler
