Former german Rola passenger cars 51 80 5035 901 8, 51 80 5040 909 4, 51 80 5040 903 7 and 51 80 5040 910 2 were parked at a scrapyard in Strasshof on 15th Aug 2005.

Couchette car for truckers in RoLa trains Bcm247 in
Dresden-Friedrichstadt. 2001-09-23.

Couchette car for "Rollende Landstraße" (rolling highway) trains, operated
by Kombiverkehr. For these
services, old couchette cars have been converted and repainted white with
yellow and red stripes. As you can see from the slam doors and the narrow
windows, this car belongs to the first series of DB express cars. They
allow truck drivers to take a short sleep before they continue driving from
their destination. Dresden-Friedrichstadt, 01-03-03.

Kombiverkehr accompanying car for RoLa trains (rebuilt from
an old DB couchette car) in Dresden-Friedrichstadt. In the
background you can see an old electric locomotive of class
142 that is used for preheating these trains in winter and
two trackbuilding machines. 2001-08-02 (morning).
