Three branch line carriages in the original colours of the KPEV
(Königlich Preussische Eisenbahn-Verwaltung), the appearance of
the turn of the century. Today they are owned by the Verein
Braunschweiger Verkehrsfreunde and stored in a fenced-off section of
the former maintenance works in Braunschweig.

An old 3rd/4th class coach for branch lines of the KPEV (Königlich
Preußische Eisenbahn-Verwaltung), in the livery of the 1890s.
Brown was the colour of the 3rd class, the 4th class was grey. 3rd class
had wooden benches in 2+3 arrangement, 4th class only had benches along
the walls and mostly standing room.

The society "Hessencourier" wants to demonstrate the history of Hessian railroads. They operate trains regularly at the line Kassel - Naumburg mainly with steam-traction (http://www.hessendampf.de). All vehicles are registered through KNE. KNE 0501004 on 6th of June in Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe.
