232.jpg (74413 bytes)

A 232 -- made in russia -- near Hoenebach, that's between Bebra and Erfurt near the former border. The Overhead wire was ready, but there were still the russian diesel locos. Now there are electric locos only.

232_346_DF.jpg (115813 bytes)

In Dresden-Friedrichstadt, near the depot, I found these locomotives: two class 232 and nine class 346, obviously retired. Recently I read that very few class 346 shunters in the original orange livery remain in active service for DBCargo.

232_auf_Drehscheibe_Bebra.jpg (80082 bytes)

A 232 (made in russia) in Bebra -- because all of the lines are electrificated, there are no diesel locos any longer. Notice the turntable, which has to be divided into two parts to turn a loco comletely! It was a _very_ bright day -- so the colors are very natural :-)
