The heavy Diesel-locomotive 234 304-4 of the DBAG was used at the steamfestival in the depot of Halle. Some of the locomotives of the BR 232 got new motores and the new number BR 234. 234 304-4 also was tested with the livery of the regional trains of the DBAG. Die schwere Diesellokomotive 234 304-4 der DBAG wird beim Bw-Fest in Halle im Pendelverkehr eingestzt. Anfang der 90er Jahre wurden einige Loks der BR 232, die in der UDSSR gebaut wurden, mit neuen Motoren ausgeruestet und zur BR 234 umgezeichnet.
