Lufthansa Airport Express (IC 1026) with 111.049-3 and three 1st class coaches leaving Frankfurt-Sportfeld station on 27.05.1990. This is the first day of the history of this train.

The train ran daily twice between Stuttgart and Frankfurt: IC 1021 Stuttgart 6.47 - Frankfurt 8.45, IC 1022 Frankfurt 9.36 - Stuttgart 11.35, IC 1025 Stuttgart 13.02 - Frankfurt 15.10 and IC 1026 Frankfurt 16.16 - Stuttgart 18.27 (Info: Eisenbahn Illustrierte 7/1990, page 10).
