EC 175 "Alois Negrelli", consisting of a DBAG class 112.1 locomotive and eight CD EuroCity cars, rolls through the freight station Dresden-Friedrichstadt on the way from Hamburg-Altona to Praha hl. n. on 2001-08-12. Currently a number of trains between Berlin and Dresden go not via Dresden-Neustadt and the Marienbrücke in Dresden, but via the bridge of Niederwartha and Dresden-Friedrichstadt, in preparation of the renewal of the Marienbrücke. 14 January 2006, Karlsruhe Gbf freight yard, Germany Entering the frame is an IRE train Karlsruhe - Stuttgart, top-and-tailed by a class 112.1 electric and with ex-IR cars on loan from DB AG's long distance division, of which some still wear the old IR livery. They are to be replaced by new class 146.2 electrics with double-deck cars in spring 2006. The train is on the line from Karlsruhe Hbf to Karlsruhe-Durlach and is just about to pass over the freight avoider line from Karlsruhe Gbf to the north side of Karlsruhe-Durlach and on to Bruchsal, and vice versa. The Ks-type signal is already the approach signal for the entry to Karlsruhe-Durlach. 14. Januar 2006, Karlsruhe Gbf, Deutschland Ins Bild fährt gerade ein IRE Karlsruhe-Stuttgart, als "Sandwich" an jedem Ende mit einer Lok der BR 112.1 bespannt und aus von DB Fernverkehr geliehenen ex-IR-Wagen gebildet, von denen manche noch die alten IR-Farben tragen. Im Frühjahr 2006 sollen sie von neuen Loks der BR 146.2 und Doppelstockwagen ersetzt werden. Der Zug befährt die Strecke von Karlsruhe Hbf nach Karlsruhe-Durlach und schickt sich gerade an, die Güterumgehungslinie von Karlsruhe Gbf zur Nordseite von Karlsruhe-Durlach und weiter Richtung Heidelberg, bzw. zurück, zu überqueren.
