To increase the capacity of the Munich S-bahn longer trains were not possible because the many underground stations could not easily be modified. So a testtrain was used to test doubledeckers. This train consisted of 4 (Dutch) doubledecker cars with a class 120 locomotive at each end. This photograph was taken at Geltendorf (8 6 1989).
