Nine years after last delivery of class 146 locomotives, DB Regio ordered in 2015 another batch of 32 engines of this class. Numbers 146 251 to 282 are internally refered as <a href="http://www.railcolor.net/index.php?nav=1405167&lang=1">class 146.3</a>. <a href="http://www.railcolor.net/index.php?nav=1406157&id=79687&action=portrait">146 270</a> reached Emmerich on line RE 5 on 1<sup><span style="font-size:60%">st</span></sup> of January 2016.<br />
