Farewell to Paris-Munich conventional daytime services (Ultimate day!!!):
Class 181.2 of DB-FV, seen heading the very last EC 64 ever (München Hbf ---> Paris Est), while running on the Rhine Bridge, which marks the border between Kehl (Germany) and Strasburg (France).
At this stage, the front end of this train already runs in France, yet both the front pantograph (15kV-16 2/3Hz AC) and the rear pantograph (25kV-50Hz AC) are still down, as this locomotive is passing the voltage change-over...
Pont du Rhin-Rheinbruck (Kehl Grenze).
9th June 2007.
