DB electric locomotive class 182 #013, Meißen
DB 182 013 waiting with double deck S-Bahn coaches towards Bad Schandau at Meißen railway station. Put into service 5 November 2001. Originally used exclusively for freight traffic, 182s replaced 143s at Dresden S-Bahn services since 2011. Their maximum speed of 230 km/h is still unused but they have a quite good acceleration suitable for suburban services. Photo taken Monday 24 October 2011.
