422 002-6 passes Lindern (on Aachen-Mönchengladbach) westbound on a
test run on 22 April 2008. Class 422 is intended to add to class 423
for S-Bahn (suburban railway) services in the Rhein-Ruhr-Sieg network. While the
configuration of doors and windows is identical, the styling of the cab was
strikingly changed. Also an electromagnetic brake was implemented to improve the
brake ability.
