DB sold half of the class 422 to VRR (Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr), but still operats all this EMUs. In case of revision the vehicles get a new livery, as it is first seen here in Wuppertal Hbf on 1<sup><span style="font-size:60%">st</span></sup> of November 2017.<br>
