403 028-4 "Aachen" seen at Aachen Hbf on 3 July 2003, short after the naming
ceremony. It is very unlikely that this trainset will come to Aachen again in
the future, as the line Frankfurt-Cologne-Aachen-Liège-Bruxelles is
operated with multiple system trains (class 406).

ICE 3 trainset 403 028-4 was given the name "Aachen" during a small ceremony at
Aachen Hbf on 3 July 2003. Here, Dr. Jürgen Linden (mayor of Aachen) is
speaking, with Bernhard Christ (station manager of Aachen Hbf) next to him. In
the background is the second class end car, 403 528-3, with the name already
applied.
