ICE Max Beckmann to Frankfurt (Main) slowly rolls across the

Marienbrücke in Dresden, passing a stopped freight train. Here we see it from behind, it consists of a 415 and a 411 trainset. 2001-05-13.

A unit of class 411 rolls across the Marienbrücke in Dresden which currently has only two tracks while the part of the bridge in front is being disassembled. You can see that the overhead wires (and tracks) of the other two tracks are already removed. The bridge will be replaced by a new one "under the rolling wheel". 2001-10-10.

DBAG ICT class 411 in Dresden-Neustadt, about to depart to Frankfurt (Main). The station hall is currently a dark and noisy building site; it is being completely renewed, retaining the historic shape with a new transparent roof.

Dresden-Neustadt, 2001-02-07: a 7-car EMU of class 411 is providing the ICE service from Dresden Hbf to Frankfurt (Main) Hbf. The interior of the hall is currently being rebuilt, still dark and unpleasant.

DBAG class 411 from Frankfurt (Main) in Dresden-Neustadt, 2001-02-24. Snow and sun again - who would have believed it? As you can see, the train gets Hp2 (proceed slowly) from the second signal from the left. The green building in background belongs to the "Leipziger Bahnhof", which used to be the end station of Germany's first long distance line Leipzig - Dresden before the station of Dresden-Neustadt was opened.

ICE from Frankfurt, consisting of one class 411 unit and one class 415 unit, arrives at Dresden-Neustadt. As the 415 is equipped for Switzerland, its front pantograph is raised. The semaphore has recently been converted from gas lights to LEDs. 2001-03-30.

An EMU class 415 + 411, ICE to Frankfurt (Main) Hbf, slowly crosses the Marienbrücke in Dresden on 2001-10-12, while the parts of the bridge which supported the two eastern tracks are being cut up and loaded into the barge waiting underneath.

An ICE consisting of a class 411 unit coupled to a class 415 unit can be seen on the Marienbrücke across the river Elbe near the Yenidze in the morning of 2001-06-27. The bridge will be repaired/replaced later this year.
