Many years ago some of the trains on the Höllentalbahn were operated with electric railcars class 485 and trailers class 885. This is the 885 706-2, which after retirement found a place in the Bw Freiburg next to the 85 007. Freiburg (Breisgau), 2003-12-29. tobias b köhler

The ET 183 05 was originally built in 1900 as ET 505 by MAN, BBC and SSW for the 600 V DC line München Isartalbahnhof - Höllriegelskreuth-Grünwald. It was rebuilt in 1926 and used on the line Meckenbeuren - Tettnang then, until 1962. The photo shows it in a bad state, before restoration as a non-working museum vehicle.
