Munich - St. Quirin Platz
St. Quirin Platz "underground" station in the Giesing district of Munich, Germany. This is on the U-1 line from Kolumbusplatz to Mangfallplatz in southern Munich, which opened in November 1997. The approaching train is of the A-series (1970's). It is headed to Westfriedhof via Gern in northwest Munich.

This station has a sort of "snail" or "spanish armada helmet" design, with natural lighting by day. It is not very deep but can be reached by escalator and elevator. This was taken Friday, 31st May 1998.
