Two bridges of the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
crossing the Hornstra&szlig;e in Cologne. The old one carries one track of the
main line to D&uuml;ren/Aachen (the other track is far away in the background)
while the new one is built for the two tracks of the S-Bahn (urban trains). The
S-Bahn line ascends from left to right to cross the main line. Of course the
main line is electrified, but the catenary is hidden behind the new bridge. The
S-Bahn will also be electrified before it is taken into service. Photo taken
