In 1987, the city of Sinsheim purchased the engine shed from the Deutsche Bundesbahn, including outdoor areas and infrastructure. The engine shed was not always at Sinsheim. Wasserturm am Bahnhof Cauerwitz, später Utenbach, an der stillgelegten Strecke Zeitz - Camburg (alte Streckennummer 187 g). Der Bahnhof wurde 1897 eröffnet und 1966 geschlossen. Der Wasserturm dient heute noch der öffentlichen Wasserversorgung. Water tank near Cauerwitz (later Utenbach) station at the former line Zeitz - Camburg (number 187 g in old timetables).
