One half of the Transrapid 07 in the early morning light, on static display in front of the Transrapid test facility TVE near Lathen, north Germany. This train went out of service in 1999 when the Transrapid 08 was introduced. 6 October 2000.

Transrapid 07 in the afternoon light, on static display in front of the TVE. On the right in the background, you can see the Transrapid 08 stopping at the passenger station. This half of the TR 07 can be visited from inside and outside, the other half is stored somewhere behind the building. When it was in operation, this vehicle reached more than 450 km/h. 6 October 2000.

Cab interior of the Transrapid 07. The train is controlled from outside, so the "driver" is only watching that everything goes right, and pressing the red button if necessary. The TR 07 still has large front and side windows in the cab, other than the TR 08. 6 October 2000.

Munich airport, Germany. Transrapid's exhibition before it was decided that the Transrapid would never get to give service. It would have been brilliant, since the regional train takes ages to arrive to the airport to the city centre.
