The
upgraded
line Cologne-Düren east of Buir seen from the south side on 30
September 2006. An about 1.5 kilometres long section of the S-Bahn (suburban
railway) line is currently extended from one to two tracks. The slope of the
broadened embankment is secured with loppings fixed by pegs.
