Bombardier electric locomotive 128 001, Weimar
Bombardier electric prototype locomotive 12X 128 001 exhibited at the 20th festival of the former railway depot Weimar. This experimental high-performance electric locomotive built in 1994 was operated as testbed and test locomotive until 2010. Photo taken Sunday 31 May 2015.

ADtranz experimental locomotive 12X (128 001-5) at Innotrans 1998, Berlin. The locomotive is equipped with IGBT inverters, which are planned to be introduced in the second series of the multi-system locomotives class 185. In the background you see the prototype diesel locomotive "Blue Tiger".
