"Kamel" (Camel) is a popular name for the diesel locos 199.8 on the Harzer Schmalspurbahn rebuilt of the class V100 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. The common used name for this locos by the personal seemed to be "Kanne" (can). The can 199 863 passes the quarry at Unterberg with a freight train in january 90. Today this quarry ist the last customer for freights of the narrow gauge net in the Harz.

199 871 arrives Wernigerode Hasserode with normal gauge wagon on trucks in january 90. At this time the standard gauge wagons were transported in Wernigerode and Nordhausen on this trucks (Rollboecke) and on the lines on special narrow gauge wagons (Rollwagen). Today a new kind of trucks are used.
