CH-RADVE 61 85 89-90 003-3 SRmz shown on InnoTrans, Berlin, September 2012. This 50 year old dome car was built 1962 by Wegmann for the TEE Rheingold as DB 10553, originally painted beige/cobalt blue, 1965 changed to beige/purple red, new number 61 80 81-80 003-8, 1976 sold to IAO Apfelpfeil as 51 80 09-43 913-6 and painted blue/orange, 1979 to reisebüro mittelthurgau as 51 80 09-80 203-5 and painted ivory/red, 1990 upgraded for 200 km/h as 51 80 09-90 203-3, 1999 to Tågkompaniet AB (Sweden) as AFS2 203 "Älgen", painted ivory/green and used in trains Stockholm - Narvik, 2005 to Vulkaneifelbahn (as intermediate trader), 2012 to rail adventure and overhauled at VIS Halberstadt with completely new interior. It is externally finished and can roll, but the interior still needs to be completed. |

On one of the windows one of the possible new interiors for the dome is
visualized - the chairs and tables can be moved to realize several different
interior layouts. |

Still mostly empty on the inside (the old bar and compartments are gone, a
completely new bar will be installed on one end), the interior ceiling is
missing too, on temporary walls photos of the rebuilding are shown. |

View out of the front windows of the dome. To allow some view from the dome
over the train without exceeding the loading gauge, a special lowered roof
shape has been designed in 1962.

On 25th September on railway station Dimitrovgrad sever - the north station of Dimitrovgrad , Bulgaria arrived a special train from Wegberg-Wildenrath - Test and validation centre of SIEMENS , situated in the city of Wildenrath , Nordrhein-Westfalen province in Germany.The main aim is Istanbul , so the train carries a new electric locomotive SIEMENS Vectron and EMU SIEMENS Velaro for needs of TCDD (Turkiye Cumhuriyeti Devlet Demiryollari / Turkish Railways ).In the next days in Turkey will conducting a trial tests and in the future seven EMUs of this type will operating on the lines Ankara - Konya and Ankara - Istanbul , using an express trains.
