Two of the new Alstom RegioCitadis EMUs (RBK 713 as leading unit) are leaving Kassel Hbf., heading for Hofgeismar-Hümme on December 27, 2005. A tunnel is currently being built underneath the old Kassel terminus to allow those EMUs to go directly into the city centre - on existing tramway tracks.
