An Itino-DMU intended for the new Odenwaldbahn is currently doing test runs on
the line Düren-Heimbach of the Rurtalbahn. The Rurtalbahn belongs to the
group of companies which will operate the Odenwaldbahn from December 2005 on.
This interior view was taken on 24 October 2004 at Düren, short before the
train departed as RTB 81506 to Heimbach. At this end, there is an area for
bicycles next to the doors. The other end also features some folding seats, a
WC accessible for wheelchairs, and even a ski rack. Note that it is not the
Itino which is tilting, I had to hurry up taking the picture because the train
was about to depart.
