A machine for reshaping the trackbed just passed the temporary station of
Sindorf (on Cologne-Aachen) running eastbound on 4 September 2002. Between
Dorsfeld and Horrem it used the left track for an "on the fly" overtaking by
THA 9417 (Paris-Cologne). On the left in the background the green distant
signal of the entrance signal of Horrem is visible, the entrance signal itself
is hard to see. The block signal on the right is green again for RE 10721
(Düren-Münster) that followed the Thalys.
