The old signalbox in Buir on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(ABS 4)
seen from the west side on 8 December 2001. It is still used to watch the level
crossing, the new signals are controlled by an electronic signalbox somewhere
else. The shape of the building allows it to look into all four directions
(along the tracks and along the street).
