Interesting combination of whistle signal (Pf2) and hiking signs between Mittelndorf and Gossdorf-Kohlmühle (line Sebnitz - Bad Schandau). The double "P" signal means: whistle here and then once again directly before the next level crossing. The small signs mean that the narrow strip of gravel directly next to the track is not forbidden, but an official hiking trail (from three different directions). Before 1952, the narrow gauge track from Hohnstein was parallel to the standard gauge track here; today the narrow trail runs in its place. 2001-06-14.
