When it will be rebuilt, it will allow direct connections from Düren to Bergheim, but i think they will not be served in regular traffic. Currently the track ends at the buffer stop on the right. There had been a second track behind the platform, but it was given up. A new platform will be built in front of the track. As they come in as train movements, the buffer stop is equipped with an Sh2. The new bridge will carry a connection to the mainline, but as far as i know this will not be used in regular traffic. The tracks 1 and 2 for the S-Bahn (urban trains) are under construction in the platform area. Very interesting is the signal ZS3 on the left. It announces the signal P3 far in the background, marked with a red circle in the picture. As P3 shows Hp0 (stop), ZS3 shows Ks2 (expect stop) together with a white light which informs about the reduced distance. The "4" says that there is a speed restriction of 40 km/h.
