Jena Paradies railway station
View of the station Jena Paradies, located in the southeast of the city center. Since 2002, Jena Paradies is the only long-distance station of Jena and served by Intercity and Intercity Express trains. It was named after the adjacent park of the same name on the eastern bank of the Saale. Operationally it is only a halt for several decades. Jena Paradies station is used on an average day by about 3,500 passengers, second only to Jena West station, which has more commuter traffic. Photo taken Wednesday 8 April 2015.
