Kassel Hauptbahnhof, platform roof. The station was opened in 1856,
later extended and rebuilt until 1960. Since 1991 long-distance
trains use the new station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, in 2007 the
station was rebuilt again for the RegioTram. Numerous buildings
such as the former freight and post halls are being used for events
