| Kassel Hauptbahnhof, platform roof. The station was opened in 1856, later extended and rebuilt until 1960. Since 1991 long-distance trains use the new station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, in 2007 the station was rebuilt again for the RegioTram. Numerous buildings such as the former freight and post halls are being used for events such as the documenta. 2012-06-25. |

Unfortunately this station does not have any luggage lockers, and Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe has way too few of them, making things a bit cumbersome for one-day visitors. 2007-09-22. |
