The new S-Bahn (suburban railway) stop Köln-Weiden West on the western edge
of Cologne (located on the
<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">upgraded
line Cologne-D&uuml;ren</a>) seen from the western platform end on 28 May 2006,
the day it was taken into service. On the left, an S 12 to Sindorf is arriving,
while a tram consisting of two low-floor cars can be seen waiting at the tram
station on the right.
