Old train destination indicator in Radebeul Ost, announcing the train
via Dresden-Neustadt, Dresden Hbf and Pirna to Schöna (which is
approaching, as you see). This indicator works simply by switching
lights on and off, it only allows a few destinations and was very common
on small stations throughout East Germany. 2001-01-27.

Radebeul Ost is located on the line between Dresden and Leipzig. It is served by Dresden S-Bahn and regional services as well as being one end of the narrow gauge line to Radeburg. Photographed on Tuesday April 25th, 2006.
