The old station of Sindorf on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking westwards from the Europaring bridge on 13 September 2001. The
southern siding on the left was removed, the ground is prepared for the single
track of the S-Bahn (urban trains). The northern siding is now without
catenary. In the background the old tracks are connected with the new highspeed
tracks.
