The station building at Zwickau on Friday September 20th, 2001. The station is on the Hof-Dresden line and forms a junction for a line to Leipzig. On the day of my visit there was engineering works on the Leipzig line and a bus was substituted for the portion of the journey to Gößnitz. The replacement bus in seen just in front of the station.

Zwickau Hbf, station building Station building of Zwickau Hbf, built between 1933 and 1936. Zwickau Hauptbahnhof is a V shaped station, which means that the station is built at a junction with a pair of platforms on each branch.
