Elstertalbahn (Gera-Plauen/V.-Weischlitz)unter der nun 150 Jahre alten
Elstertalbrücke (Strecke Reichenbach-Plauen/V.)hindurch.

View of a wooden fence closing off a siding at Brühl station, June 2000, viewing North. This side track is unusable after a train entering this siding derailed at high speed in February 2000. Nine people were killed in this accident, when one of the cars hit the platform roof supports. Although the 'Gallery' does not normally feature model railways this maybe
considered an exception. We first saw the Rheine town of Bacharach as a superb 'n'
gauge model and decided we must go there on our next visit to Germany.
This picture of the 'model' railway shows the area of the town in our 'real' shot of the 101.
