wegen der nahegelegenen Gasförderstation.

Bärenstein (Annaberg) station building
Orphaned station building of Bärenstein (Annaberg), located at kilometer 0.91 of Vejprty–Annaberg-Buchholz railway. The section between Bärenstein and the Vejprty was reopened in 1993 using much tax money for restoring the border bridge, but all passenger traffic was shut down on 14 December 2014 due to lack of financial grants by the state of Saxony. Photo was taken Saturday 21 March 2015 only three months after closure of the line.

Bärenstein (Annaberg) railway station
Orphaned railway station of Bärenstein (Annaberg). No Erzgebirgsbahn trains will stop there anymore. In the waiting shelter there was the new schedule with train services still existing between Cranzahl and Chemnitz, however there were no notes of substitute bus transports between Cranzahl and Vejprty. Photo was taken Saturday 21 March 2015 only three months after closure of the line.

Bahnhof Barthmühle im Elstertal am Abend des 2. Dezember 2000. Ungefähr 500m links vom Aufnahmestandort führt die Strecke der Elstertalbahn (Gera-Plauen/V.-Weischlitz)unter der nun 150 Jahre alten Elstertalbrücke (Strecke Reichenbach-Plauen/V.)hindurch.

Barthmuehle station in the valley of the Elster river in the evening of 2.December 2000. In about 500m left of the photographer's place the Elstertalbahn line (Gera-Plauen/V.-Weischlitz) is crossed by the 150 year old Elstertalbrücke viaduct (on the line Reichenbach-Plauen/V.).
