Marktschorgast railway station Station building of Marktschorgast, located on the line Hof–Kulmbach–Lichtenfels (km 81,1). Marktschorgast is the upper ending of the Schiefe Ebene (literally: "inclined plane"), a ramp that climbs 157.7 metres over a distance of 6.8 kilometres and therefore has an average incline of 23‰. Maroldsweisach railway station Former station of Maroldsweisach located on the Breitengüßbach–Maroldsweisach railway (route km 33,8) now used as residential building. In 1988 passenger traffic has been suspended between Ebern and Maroldweisach, and freight traffic discontinued in 2001. All tracks north of Ebern have been removed since then.
