Meckesheim railway station Railway station of Meckesheim located on the Rhein-Neckar S-Bahn lines from Heidelberg to Eppingen and Aglasterhausen. Due to the branching Schwarzbach valley line and an amount of passengers in the village, Meckesheim is also a halt (since 1997) in the RE-train system between Mannheim, Heidelberg, and Heilbronn. The DB Station at Mockrehna (between Eilenburg & Torgau) is on the line from Leipzig to Cottbus. It appears to be boarded-up at the ground floor level and the white & blue ticket machine serves as the booking office. Photographed from train RE17063 on Friday May 9th, 2003.

Mühlhausen (Thür) station building Streetside view of Mühlhausen (Thür) station building located on the Gotha–Leinefelde line since 1870. Served by RE trains towards Göttingen, Kassel, Glauchau and Greiz and by slower RB trains towards Erfurt and Leinefelde. 56 trains run daily (Mon–Fri), 45 run on weekend days. 27 trains run to Leinefelde each days. Thus Leinefelde station is main direct destination. There are an average of 26 direct services to Erfurt each day, 15 to Gotha, 8 each to Göttingen, Gera, Jena, 6 to Chemnitz and Zwickau and 6 to Kassel as well. Photo taken Thursday 3 September 2015.
