The station building of Porz-Heumar on the line Cologne-Overath-Gummersbach-Marienheide seen on 13 April 2003. There are no trains stopping here normally, but on this day the trains from Overath and Gummersbach ended here because of construction works at the junction of the new line to the airport. Passengers were transfered to Porz-Gremberghoven (on the line to Siegburg) by bus and had to continue with the S 12 from there. The small part of the building on the left next to the high mast (obviously for train radio) is the mechanical signalbox. It is operated by one person everytimes, even when the trains just run through. At the left edge is a train waiting for departure towards Overath.
