01 111 is a 1934 built 4-6-2 express passenger locomotive built by Berliner Maschinenbau AG and preserved by the Deutsches Dampflokomotiv-Museum at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg. 01 1081 built 1940 by Schwartzkopff, originally streamlined. 1955 rebuilt with new boiler, streamlining removed. 1957 rebuilt to oil. 1968 renumbered to 012 081-6. Last based at Rheine, regular operation until 1975. Stored in Bad Münster am Stein (privately owned). 1988 sold to Ulmer Eisenbahnfreunde and moved to Ettlingen. Later shown at Heilbronn. Since 2007 it can be seen in Augsburg. The locomotive is complete but not operational, the state of the paint is not the best. Bahnpark Augsburg, 2016-06-05. tobias b köhler
