Plandampf_Aue_-_Markersbach_38_5205_24_2.jpg (160655 bytes)

The scarcely-used line between Schwarzenberg and Annaberg-Buchholz featured briefly in Plandampf Aue. That was on 24 February 1992, when 4-6-0 38 5205 ran a demonstration works train over the steel viaduct that crosses the village of Markersbach. This scenic route has sadly, since been closed to all traffic.
