043 903 was the last steam locomotive of the Deutsche Bundesbahn in regular service, which ended in Summer 1977. The oil-fired locomotive serviced heavy iron ore trains from the seaport Emden to the Ruhrgebiet in the seventies. Today the machine is exhibited as museum locomotive at Emden Hbf. The photo was taken on the 14th of March 1997.
