50 3690 is a 1941 2-10-0 freight locomotive built by Henschel & Sohn in Kassel as #50 1465. It was rebuilt and renumbered in 1961 and is now preserved by the Deutsches Dampflokomotiv-Museum at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg. It was photographed on Thursday September 19th, 2002 from the Bayreuth-Hof train which reverses direction here.

DR steam locomotive class 50 #3690, Nossen Historical steam locomotive 50 3690 exhibited at the Nossen roundhouse during the 38 205 farewell celebration on 28 March 1998.
